So because it is in fact December 31, the last day of the year, I've decided to write out my resolutions for 2010:

-time with family

Getting Ready

In three days I will be heading back to sunny California for some temporary rest and laughs with my family and friends. Am I excited? Yes. Am I a bit worried that when I return I will only have a week and a half to complete my design final? Um, you know, just a bit...

On a lighter note, I am extremely excited for these three books to arrive:



and the anticipation for winter break begins.

It's Getting Colder...

It's times like these when the wind blows, leaves change, and the weather starts to get cooler that I can't help think to myself, "It's that time of the year again...for a fall wishlist!"

No, I'm kidding, I really am not like that...all the time.

Anyways, I find writing it down, or even posting it to the world, will really encourage me to stand my ground and not add more to this list, otherwise I will certainly be in a world full of greed.

Fall/Winter Essentials List (as of right now):

1. Thick, wooly sweaters
2. Loose, thin dresses for layering
3. Classic black oxfords or black ankle boots
4. A navy blue coat (double-breasted or duffel)
5. Black leather gloves
6. Lacy unmentionables (a little self-satisfaction, right?)
7. Another pair of go-to jeans

What's New?

So I definitely have not been updating this little blog of mine, yet I guess it doesn't really matter?

Well anyways, midterms just finished up last week, and I would have to say that I feel relatively accomplished and satisfied. Interior design has been hectic, insane, time-consuming, with much money spent, yet I really am enjoying myself this semester.

A new year, a fresh-ish start, a new state of mind and objectives, life has been good.

and can we please all appreciate this, please?

The Sweetest Thing

I am pretty sure that the cutest biking moment ever filmed would have to be the biking scene in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Paul Newman, Robert Redford and Katherine Ross. Epic.

Saw Adele last night, and I must say, she is THE sweetest and cutest person ever! Watching her live was incredible; she really is a wonderful singer with an amazing voice.

Just yesterday my sister and I decided to treat ourselves to a sample sale with little intent on purchasing a thing. Boy were we wrong! By the way, can I just say how much I adore Current/Elliott? The line has an amazing selection of well worn denim that is incredibly soft and tastefully destroyed. In the end, I ended up purchasing the line's The Roll Short in High Low Destroyed, The Shirt Dress in Ticker, and The Super Slouchy Skinny in Treasured Destroyed. I really wish I could post the pictures from the Current/Elliott site, however, it's being a bit stubborn and I'll just have to settle for shopbop's instead.




On another note, Charlotte Ronson's I Heart Ronson line for JCPenny is adorable! I happened to stumble upon it while browsing through the web-you must take a look!
