Denim Goodnes

Just yesterday my sister and I decided to treat ourselves to a sample sale with little intent on purchasing a thing. Boy were we wrong! By the way, can I just say how much I adore Current/Elliott? The line has an amazing selection of well worn denim that is incredibly soft and tastefully destroyed. In the end, I ended up purchasing the line's The Roll Short in High Low Destroyed, The Shirt Dress in Ticker, and The Super Slouchy Skinny in Treasured Destroyed. I really wish I could post the pictures from the Current/Elliott site, however, it's being a bit stubborn and I'll just have to settle for shopbop's instead.

On another note, Charlotte Ronson's I Heart Ronson line for JCPenny is adorable! I happened to stumble upon it while browsing through the web-you must take a look!

Chicago, IL

I just returned from Chicago roughly two days ago, and it was incredible. I stayed in the Wicker Park area, and I found myself satisfied with the overall trip. I was able to cover a lot of ground for just twelve days, and each place I saw was mesmerizing, vast and strangely pacifying. Chicago is a distinct city; not as large and laid-back as Los Angeles, yet not as chaotic and overwhelming as New York. On my second day in Chicago, I was strolling around the downtown area during rush hour and it strangely reminded me of Hong Kong right when the sun is about to rise. I know, what a weird and specific moment, but I swear that really is what Chicago reminded of! A city that is small yet large yet hectic yet not at all.

Unfortunately, I did not bring a camera with me, so I do not have any pictures to share-but once my friend uploads his many, I will be sure to share them as soon as possible.

In the meantime, I am in dire need of a job-will be job hunting once tomorrow strikes.
